Gusts may continue on exposed ridgelines through the overnight hours. * COLD FRONT...A strong cold front will cross the area Monday evening, bringing an abrupt wind shift to the northwest. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent. Overnight recoveries will be poor, averaging around 18-28%. Humidities will trend upward Monday, though most locations are likely to remain below 15%. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are likely to occur. Any new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
