Critical fire weather conditions wane after sunset as winds taper off and relative humidity rises. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. * AREA AND TIMING...Upper Rio Grande Valley (Zone 121) late Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. * 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with peak gusts of 35 to 40 mph Wednesday afternoon. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Falling to 10 to 15 percent Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
