Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 9 at 8:21PM MDT until July 9 at 8:45PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS At 821 PM MDT/921 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles south of Wauneta to 7 miles south of Stratton to 4 miles south of McDonald, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe storms will be near... Stratton around 925 PM CDT. Atwood and Trenton around 935 PM CDT. Ludell around 940 PM CDT. Culbertson and Herndon around 950 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Max, Blakeman, and Beardsley. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or lightning.
