Flood Warning issued June 27 at 4:46PM CDT until June 28 at 10:45AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 446 PM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain fell. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Coffeyville, Caney, Dearing, Tyro and Havana. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
