Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered storms capable of heavy rainfall rates will continue to move east over southern IN and portions of northern KY through the early to mid morning hours. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Brandenburg, Webster, Irvington, Ekron, Mauckport, Alton, Laconia, New Amsterdam, Andyville and Payneville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
