Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Blue River at Fredericksburg affecting Harrison and Washington Counties. .Heavy rain from the past 24 hours will cause the river to rise. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Blue River at Fredericksburg. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water covers parts of Fredericksburg-Depauw Road near river. At 22.0 feet, Backroads in town flood. Water approaches US 150. At 23.0 feet, US 150 is closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 21.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM EDT Saturday was 22.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 4.8 feet early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.2 feet on 04/06/2025. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
