Low-water crossings may be flooded. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Warning issued June 28 at 2:11AM EDT until June 28 at 7:15AM EDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Indiana, including the following county, Pike. * WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 210 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in several county roads remain flooded. Between 4 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Petersburg, Winslow and Spurgeon. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. White River at Petersburg down to Hazleton. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Minor river flooding continues through at least Wednesday...on the White River below the confluence of the East Fork White...and on the Wabash River at Mount Carmel. River levels in these areas will rise or remain near steady through at least Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Petersburg. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56 floods and blocks the vehicle access to Dodge City. During the March 2008 flood the river remained above this level from late afternoon March 19 through April 9. As mid-March 2011 high water was receding...SR 257 south of Washington reopened when Shoals was at 10.5 feet and falling steadily for the past 2 days. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Saturday /7:45 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 18.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Saturday /7:45 PM CDT Saturday/ was 18.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet Monday evening.
