Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM... At 258 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Fort Lauderdale, moving east at 5 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
