yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 4:38 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. Thunderstorm Location: From north of Bird to southwest of Bird to west of Beaver Hill Lake Motion: Moving east at 40 km/h Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) Locations in the Path: Munro Lake Oxford House Kettle Lake Gillam Fox Lake Touchwood Lake Beaver Hill Lake Magill Lake Vermilyea Lake Bird Knee Lake Hepburn Lake ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
