Along the Rio Grande in lower Brewster county, temperatures as high as 115. * WHERE...Chisos Basin and Davis Mountains, and Lower Brewster County County. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Look before you lock! Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles for even a moment. Car interiors will very quickly reach lethal temperatures. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
