In southern Oklahoma, Love. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected this evening and tonight. Special Weather Statement issued June 4 at 5:59AM CDT by NWS Norman OK At 559 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles east of Stonewall to 3 miles northeast of Centrahoma. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Coalgate, Tupelo, and Centrahoma. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
